Building a new home? Now is the time to invest in wiring the systems that will provide entertainment, comfort, and convenience for years to come.
Homeowners often think that they don’t need or want a specific system installed, but after living in their new home, they realize that they really do want that theater room, security system, or a Beam central vacuum system installed. Investing in the wiring now will save time, money, and hassle later on. This allows the house to be upgraded in stages, as wires can stay hidden behind a wall until the time and budget is right to make additions.
This is especially true for Whole Home Automation. Our recommendation for every new build house is to pre-wire your home in some way for automation, whether it will be used right away or further down the road. (Refer to Whole Home Automation)
Is your home already finished? It may seem impossible to plumb and wire systems that you are interested in, but with closer investigation and creativity, it is often quite possible to do so with little to no disruption to your home. Unfinished basements, crawl spaces, and attics often provide the means to install these systems you want and/or need.
